This week, we had the immense pleasure of celebrating the graduation of our latest cohort from the Micro Qualification in Vocational Literacy and Numeracy program in Nadi.
Witnessing our students, trainers, and the entire APMT team come together to mark this milestone was truly special. Each certificate represents not just knowledge gained, but a significant step toward new employment pathways, entrepreneurial ventures, and long-term careers for Fiji’s youth.

Our heartiest congratulations to our students in Ba and Rakiraki for completing the Micro Qualification in Vocational Literacy and Numeracy! It was a great day for students, trainers and the entire APMT team as all graduates received their certificates from Mr Steve Chand, Chairman HEC, and spoke glowingly about the quality of training and support they received from APMT trainers and staff. The events was also graced by Director of HEC Dr Eci Naisele. Mr Renjith Joseph, Chairman and Mrs Manpreet Kaur, GM Operations APMT, also addressed the gathering and emphasised the need for constant improvement and learning.

The recognition of APMT as the first IATA Authorised Training Centre (ATC) in Fiji and the Pacific region is both historic and transformative for the islands.

The 2023–2024 Employment and Unemployment Survey by the Fiji Bureau of Statistics (FBoS) found that 23.7% of Fijian youths aged 15–24, or 29,056 out of 122,784, are not in education, employment, or training (NEET). Youth unemployment stands at 18.3%.
