After completing this program, graduates are expected to take on leadership roles in community health settings. They will oversee and coordinate community care for patients with HIV and AIDS, both in hospital wards and remote environments. These team leaders will be responsible for delivering advanced education to communities on methods to reduce the transmission of HIV, AIDS, and associated diseases. They will also manage and support other level 2 community health workers, ensuring that care is provided effectively and efficiently. Graduates may work under the supervision of registered nurses or healthcare managers in Fiji. With their advanced training and leadership skills, they will be well-positioned to apply for higher-level nursing or healthcare management qualification programmes, further advancing their careers in the health sector.
